50 Years of Fashion at ACC

An event sponsored by the Academy
50+Years+of+Fashion+at+ACC

Music boomed and outfits shone as the Academy and others performed a fashion show on a weekday evening. On Thursday, March 21, the Academy program sponsored this event to celebrate 50 years of ACC.

From the Commons stage, well-dressed student speakers introduced each decade–starting with the 1950s–and shared fun facts about culture, technology, and music in those time periods before having teacher and students from several programs come on stage to pose in their throwback clothing. Ending with the 2000s, they wrapped up by discussing how much ACC has grown since its establishment in 1974.

To celebrate, the ACC Culinary students baked cupcakes for everyone to have after the event. So many exciting elements brought the fashion show together and is sure to be a night to remember.
