Are your group hangouts boring? Have you run out of things to do together? Why worry about making new friends when you could choose from a number of incredible activities that you can do with any group of people!
I’ve noticed so many groups don’t take advantage of the true extent of the things they can do together. When you see a group of people, often half are on their phones, and the other half didn’t even show up. Get-togethers are boring with no real plan. Everyone’s broke (like me), and everything costs money, and no one can decide on anything. It’s herding cats! But I’ve thought out a whole list of inexpensive, flexible activities that the whole gang can participate in.
Fun group activities to do with your friends, coworkers, family, platoon squad, jury members, estranged middle school group chat, and hostage group:
-Have a group discussion on ways you can stay positive in a post-9/11 world
-Rent an apartment together, see how much you can add onto it without permits
-Become a polycule, see if group dynamics are affected
-Have the whole gang go around in a circle, each person listing one way they stay chaste
-Rank everyone in the group based on attractiveness, go into details, and argue your reasoning
-Go play laser tag
-Have a group therapy session to recover from the wartime flashbacks caused by laser tag
-Run a mock Stanford Prison Experiment, see if group dynamics change
-Matching outfits
-Document your group escapades in a scrapbook
-Heavily censor the scrapbook
-Adopt a child together
-Go trick or treating, it doesn’t have to be Halloween just do it
-Russian roulette
-Go on a hike and hold a group reenactment of Lord of the Flies
-Lock yourselves together in a closet for multiple hours a day
-Enlist together
-Sue each other in civil court, possibly over custody agreements of your adopted child
-Dump all your money into a shared bank account (small scale communism)
-Become an improv theatre troupe
-Group dentist appointments
-Friendship bracelet making
-Exchange social security numbers/other personal information
-Blood pacts
– S U M M O N I N G C I R C L E
-Visit the church of scientology
-Give each other haircuts
-Go through the lengthy legal process of changing your names so they all match
-Diagnose each other with different disorders
-Unionize together
-Matching tattoos
Pick and choose what works best for your group, or make this your bucket list. No matter what, you’ll never have to worry about being bored again!
