I am in need of your advice on my current situation. My ex asked to come over to my house, even though he’s dating my friend. I haven’t told my friend because she stopped talking to me about him. 2 days ago my ex texted me and asked if we could talk in person. He said that he wanted to tell me how he feels, and that he wants to give me one last hug. I agreed but he’s been dating my friend for almost 4 months now. If I could say anything to him, I would tell him that I miss him.

Let’s take a deep breath and step out of the drama fog for a second, because you’re standing in the middle of a situation that could explode faster than microwave popcorn. Here’s the real advice: if your ex is dating your friend, he has no business showing up at your house asking for “one last hug.” That’s not romance, that’s emotional recycling, and you deserve better than being someone’s backup plan when they get bored or plain confused. You also don’t owe him a meeting just because he asked. Protecting your peace is always a valid answer. 

A simple “I don’t think that’s a good idea” shuts the door without starting a war. As for your friend, the fact that she stopped talking to you over him says a lot. Getting involved again, even just emotionally, will only drag you back into a mess you already escaped.
