The nation of Australia is currently under fire, facing rampant allegations of forging the existence of one of their most unique animals, the world has ever known: the platypus. The world has long been told of the seemingly nonsensical existence of the platypus. The platypus is what occurs when you mix a duck, a beaver, and an otter together, creating a venomous, egg-laying, and billed mammal. But how much of this animal is real?
An anonymous whistleblower came forward last March, revealing numerous pictures and documents showing the platypus to be the work of Photoshop and forged documents, even showing evidence of what appeared to be a “platypus skeleton” really being numerous animal bones stuck together with tape and Elmer’s glue. After being interviewed by CNN, the anonymous whistleblower stated, “It was an open secret. When I started to doubt it, I was told this was for the good of my country, and to go against it was to betray my country. But, a beautiful lie is still a lie, and I knew the world needed to know the truth.”
She gave this statement just days before her identity was leaked to the public, possibly by Australian officials. She was revealed to be Taylor Tellmen, a researcher, from the University of Australian Science and Technology.
Tragically, Tellmen died just last week after she mysteriously passed away from bullet in head complications. The police have currently ruled her death as an “unavoidable accident.”
Further speculation arose after researchers employed by the university submitted Platypus photographs to National Geographic. These photos featured an unremoved Sora AI watermark.
This discovery has caused speculation regarding the authenticity of other Australian inhabitants, such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and other various species. But, what would motivate the nation of Australia to greatly exaggerate its wildlife species?
Kanye West, who last June was formally banned from the nation of Australia, has an answer: “They kicked me out cause they knew I was onto the truth. That platypus thing isn’t real; it’s an invention by the government. It’s all a plot by the Australian government to distract society from the truth. That Australia makes for the perfect chemical warfare testing site.”
Kanye and several other celebrities have called for the chemical destruction of Australia. Their logic behind their argument is that with Australia’s large landmass and small population, what’s preventing this empty space from being destroyed through chemical warfare? It used to be due to their unique animals, but with them gone, there’s nothing stopping us. Many conspirators theorize that the Australian government, wanting to keep the land for themselves, formulated the elaborate lie of Australia’s wacky wildlife.
Whether these odd Aussie animals are a work of fact or fiction, the court of public opinion has made up its mind. The nation of Australia cannot be trusted.
