The 26 with ’26 series is a continuation of a Chronicle tradition. This year, we’re asking 26 questions to a member of the class of 2026. Between now and May, we will aim to shine a spotlight on each member of this year’s graduating class across all ACC programs. - How does it feel to be a senior in high school?
- Preliminary. Almost at college and being able to really study what is intresting, now it is just a waiting game
- What has been your favorite moment at ACC?
- If I had to pick one it would have to be getting a 100 on my ladner midterm.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?.
- Everything educational you do no matter how insignificant or irelevent it feels makes you a smater more well rounded person.
- Who’s your greatest influence?
- Michael (robotics mentor)
- What is/was your favorite elective and why?
- Digital electronics. Showed me that I want to work in some capacity with hardware.
- What was your favorite project?
- Making a Pocket Watch for digital electronics. The freedom given during that assignment gave me the leeway to explore so many things that are intresting to me and really grow my skills.
- Who’s been your favorite teacher at ACC?.
- I’m not answering this question.
- What’s your favorite extracurricular activity?
- Robotics. I think for the most part the community of it, while it is not always the best I think that the positives massively outweigh the downs
- If you could redo any grade, which one, and what would you change?
- 11th. So many more things I wish I could or should have done.
- If you could meet any person, alive or dead, who would it be?
- Frances Perkins. Unsung American Hero
- What do you plan on doing after high school?
- College
- What’s your ideal field or career?
- Hardware design.
- What’s a good study habit you’d like to share?
- Remind yourself why you are studying. It’s a good way to motivate you to do something. Under no circumstances should you try to argue with yourself on why it does not need to happen now that’s a good way to procrastinate.
- If a genie gave you three wishes, what would you wish for?
- Benevolent world leaders,
- What’s something you want to do before you graduate?
- Finish my Tetris Project.
- What is something you can’t live without?
- Food, water, sleep, etc.
- Where’s your favorite place to hang out outside of school?
- Used to be DC before the dark times. Now probably Ballston.
- If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
- ISS. I wrote a college essay on this question
- Who’s your favorite musical artist?
- Chopin
- What’s a song that you have on repeat?
- Don’t really
- What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
- La La Land
- What motivates you?
- Fear of being unemployed, commitments to other people, and a love of what I do.
- What’s the most challenging thing you’ve ever done?
- Junior year. ‘Nuf said
- What’s your greatest achievement so far?
- Having the most college credits out of anyone who graduated or is expected to graduate so far. Source (Magro))
- How would you change the Career Center for the better?
- Make it harder, If I don’t feel like I have to study for 4 hours a Day to keep up something is not right. (Not including weekends))
- What final words do you want to share with ACC?
