- How does it feel to be a senior in high school?
- I’d rate it a solid okay. 6/10. More freedom, but more responsibilities.
- What was your favorite moment at ACC?
- Staying at school for 14 hours straight that one time (’twas robotics)..
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
- If it works it works 🙂
- What advice would you give to underclassmen?
- Take a Cupero class, it builds character.
- Who supported you the most through high school?
- My mom!
- What is/was your favorite core class you’ve taken and why?
- World lit (12th grade English). We’re only three weeks in but the curriculum is exactly the stuff I like reading in my free time, and Dr. Marcille is amazing.
- What is/was your favorite elective and why?
- Forensics. It’s so cool. Have you done fingerprinting? Have you ever held a human heart? I have, and it was epic.
- What grade did you enjoy the most and why?
- Freshman year for sure. There was so much new stuff to do, much less homework, and it was my first year on the robotics team.
- What do you plan on doing next year?
- Selling my soul to the gods of higher education d(･∀･○)
- What field are you planning on going into?
- Maybe forensics, maybe marine sciences, maybe engineering, maybe business. Depends where I go for college.
- What is a personal goal you have for life after high school?
- Acquire a collection of niche and artistic mugs.
- What is something you can’t live without?
- Almost said “air” and then thought better of it. Em dashes. They’re my favorite type of punctuation.
- What is your favorite project you’ve done?
- Robotics!
- Where’s your favorite place to hang out outside of school?
- Anywhere with people I like.
- If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
- A few from the top of my list: Japan, China, South Africa, New Zealand
- What’s your favorite extracurricular activity?
- Robotics 😀
- Who’s your favorite musical artist?
- Either Zhou Shen or Mafumafu
- What’s a song that you have on repeat?
- Badder Love – EVNNE
- What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
- Kingdom of the Blue Whale (a National Geographic documentary)
- What’s your favorite meal?
- Almost anything
- Are you more of a morning person, night owl, or mid-day energizer?
- I’d be nocturnal if that was societally acceptable.
- What time do you go to bed on school nights?
- Sometime between 6 PM to 4 AM.
- What motivates you?
- I want to live a life without regrets.
- What’s an academic challenge you faced and how did you overcome it?
- I didn’t have a study period last year, and I didn’t so much overcome it as I struggled through it with sheer blind luck (and I write fast).
- What’s your greatest achievement so far?
- Got a 95 on a paper I wrote in a day (do not do this at home kids).
