Arlington Community Foundation Scholarship

Arlington Community Foundation Scholarship

On Wednesday, November 15, Arlington Community Foundation representative Ms. Muniz visited ACC with information about the organization’s scholarships. Last year, the organization gave over $700,000 to students applying for college (ten of which were from the Career Center), a small fraction of the total 5 million dollars donated to students over the last decade. The money is all thanks to several organizations and families within Arlington donating to the scholarships.

Ms. Muniz, the scholarship manager, will be back later in December to run a workshop on applying for a scholarship. The application will open on December 12 and close a few months later on February 6. Frequently asked questions and their answers can be found on their website here. If you’re applying for a scholarship, look for information from the college counselor, Mr. DeRocco, in the coming weeks so you don’t miss the workshop dates.

Good luck with your application!
