Arlington Tech recently had its annual club fair, a chance for students to explore the many extracurriculars our school has to offer. Taking place during lunch, students browsed through the displays, signing up for clubs and chatting with friends.
And boy, was there a club for everyone.
Do you want to enter the computer science field? Django Girls is for you – Wednesdays, after school, they’ll teach you how to use python and several other coding languages.
Speaking of STEAM, the girls in the STEAM Cohort meet in archers every day, and would love to have you.
Or maybe you’re more interested in law. If so, then feel free to stop by 105B after school on Tuesdays and participate in Law Talk. On that note, however, perhaps criminal justice is something you’re curious about. If so, the Purple Wing is always open on A-day Tuesdays for you to meet like-minded people and learn more about the justice system.
Let’s say, though, that you just want to chill and hang out with friends. If so, D&D is the club for you! Come over to Mr. Hines’ on Thursdays and roll the dice to see what happens next! Can’t add the dice together? Math Club will help you work on your counting skills.
Not only would these clubs love to have you, but so would many others! Stay tuned for more club news as the year goes on.
