The girls’ Ultimate Frisbee team just led ACC to their first victory of the season this week. On Monday, September 23, the team went up against Wakefield. It was a cold and rainy day, and the game was tough. However, ACC pushed through and managed to not only score the first point of the game, but to win overall with a score of 6 – 2. The MVP of the team was sophomore Lilah Grace, who scored a total of four points.
The frisbee team’s next game is September 26, and they’re going against Washington-Liberty, their toughest opponent so far. The team captain, Zoe Patchen, says, “We have a lot of new members this year, and they’ve improved a lot since our first practice two weeks ago.” They are all excited to see how the rest of the season goes.
