Maggie Odar is determined to make the most of the time she has left here at Arlington Tech. For the past three years, Maggie’s main goal has been to get the best grades she can to open the most doors possible for herself. Her dream is to go to a five-year urban architecture college.
Maggie wants to be remembered at ACC as a passionate student, and she has, without a doubt, achieved that goal. One of the more significant projects that Maggie is proud of is her impact on the school newspaper, the ACC Chronicle. She’s been there since the beginning and has acted as Editor-in-Chief for two years now.
However, Maggie is determined to not just spend the rest of her senior year reflecting on the past three. She wants to create new memories and get the most out of her high school experience. Maggie’s most excited for senior activities such as senior bonfire and prom. She wants to make saying yes a priority. In particular, Maggie wants to spend as much time with the people around her as she can. Her mentality this year is “do it for the plot.”
She also acknowledges that this will require balance, and therefore, very good time management. Luckily, that is a skill that Maggie has learned how to utilize very well through her five years of both club and Wakefield volleyball. She feels prepared to juggle her extracurricular activities, capstone, academics, and social life for her final year at home.
