25 with ’25 is a Chronicle series where we ask 25 questions to a member of the class of ’25. Between now and May, we’ll shine a spotlight on each member of this year’s graduating class. Our goal is to feature all seniors from all ACC programs. Get started by completing this Google form, and reach out to Ilana Hoffer or Clara Golner with any questions.
- How does it feel to be a senior in high school?
- It feels surreal, it’s so weird to be able to look back on all my high school years.
- What was your favorite moment at ACC?
- My favorite moment was probably eating lunch in my car with my friends, specifically when it was Caroline’s birthday and we had a whole cake to share with 10 people in the car.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
- To look at the bigger picture. Something may seem stressful right now, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s alright.
- What advice would you give to underclassmen?
- I would say that building relationships with your teachers is vastly important. I think it really made it easier to ask questions and go to them for advice in the future. Also, don’t let school consume your entire life. Make room for fun in your schedule, you don’t want to look back on your high school years thinking you wish you had more fun.
- Who supported you the most through high school?
- Me
- What is/was your favorite core class you’ve taken and why?
- DE US History was my favorite because it was organized and I always did well.
- What is/was your favorite elective and why?
- My favorite elective was Architecture because it’s what helped me find my passion for my career and I made a lot of friends.
- What grade did you enjoy the most and why?
- Junior year. It’s just the best, don’t listen to what other people say about how it sucks. I feel like I just got into a groove with workflow and productivity and it really set me up for success.
- What do you plan on doing next year?
- I’m definitely going to pursue architecture in my undergrad, hopefully in a city.
- What field are you planning on going into?
- Architecture
- What is a personal goal you have for life after high school?

- What is something you can’t live without?
- My cat Gizmo
- What is your favorite project you’ve done?
- I think my favorite project I’ve done is the moving parts project in CAD. I made this cool winding mechanism and it worked pretty well!

- What motivates you?
- Definitely academic validation, I’m scared of failing so receiving positive marks from teachers is rewarding. Also getting into a good college.
- What’s an academic challenge you faced and how did you overcome it?
- Honestly, I really struggled with creativity in architecture. I constantly felt like what my peers were doing was cooler than what I was.
- What’s your greatest achievement so far?
- Probably scoring the capstone that all the engineering kids wanted.
