Lost Dog is a local chain with 5 restaurants across Northern Virginia. One of those locations is 2 blocks away from ACC, on Columbia Pike. Since it’s so close, and since they offer takeout, it’s a great option for seniors who want to grab a pizza or sub for lunch. Not only is it super close, but the service is fast and the staff are incredibly friendly and outgoing. The price is about average for a nicer restaurant in Northern Virginia, with a single serving pizza costing $15. 

If you’re not in a rush and want to do a full sit-down meal, here are our recommendations. Tasty appetizers include garlic bread (coming with optional cheese or marinara sauce), Dog Collars (AKA onion rings), and several dips. There are so many pizza options to choose from that we couldn’t decide on which is the best, so you can make your own. In addition, there are pastas and sandwiches. If you aren’t absolutely stuffed by the end, there are cookies, milkshakes, and even pie for dessert. For those who are concerned about gluten, there are many gluten-free options that still taste great.
