You have created a god

Summoned by a ritual of your own design

With bones of ancients

And oils cracked

It rises

It shall remain for a thousand some years

pristine, perfect.

Indestructible, infallible,

Your god is in everything

every person, animal, and plant

In the water,

And the earth

Everywhere you go, your god will follow.

It will go even where you can not

Your god survives,

It whispers of a future

Bright and beautiful

Everything you’ve ever dreamed of.

You are wrapped in it’s cold embrace.

It is apart of you,

Your skin and blood and tears.

You have created a god,

Which poisons all it touches.

Every person, animal, and plant.

It seeps into the water,

And burrows into the earth,

Infallible, Indestructible,

Inescapable.
