24 with ’24: Carson Driskill

24 with ’24 is a Chronicle series where we ask 24 questions to a member of the class of ’24. Between now and June, we’ll shine a spotlight on each member of this year’s graduating class. Our goal is to feature all seniors from all ACC programs.   1. How does it feel to be a senior in high school?
    • I’m so tired, like, all the time
  2. Favorite moment at ACC?
    • Sophomore year districts robotics competition
  3. Best piece of advice you’ve received?
    •  Life is short, but it’s also very long. Figure out which is which
  4. Advice you’d give to underclassmen?
    • Don’t kill yourself over grades, have fun
  5. A person who supported you the most through high school?
    • Friends
  6. Favorite core class you’ve taken and why? 
    • DE Physics 1, it’s a lot of fun, and Dr. Miller’s the GOAT
  7. Favorite elective?
    • Either Engineering 2 or CAD
  8. What is your Capstone experience and how’s it going?
    • I work at a civil engineering company called Cowen Design group, it’s going great; I get paid, coworkers are really nice
  9. Any advice on Capstone you’d like to share?
    • Apply early and do something cool. Make the most of it
  10. What grade did you enjoy the most?
    • None
  11. What are you excited about for life after high school?
    • I’m excited to go to college and study what I’m actually interested in
  12. What is your top college choice?
    • Drexel or Lafayette
  13. What field are you planning on going into?
    • Mechanical engineering
  14. What is something you can’t live without?
    • Heartbeat
  15. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
    • In a ditch somewhere
  16. Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Arlington?
    • The gym

    • Anywhere to see the northern lights
